Taxis were readily available to take us to the nearby train station in Lanark, which only took about 5 minutes and cost around £8. From there, it was easy to purchase a ticket and take a train to Glasgow for around £7. the cottage also had a charming garden in the back where you could enjoy the sun on a bench. Finally, the hosts were incredibly friendly and available throughout our stay, making the experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend the Annexe Cottage At Newhouse Farm to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with easy access to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. Cons: No issues. 👍.
